Chungnam Province announced on the 26th that it successfully concluded a program for overseas buyers invited by the province's overseas offices, which included visits to outstanding local companies and cultural tours in conjunction with the "2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year" campaign.

The company visits and cultural tours were conducted for approximately 70 overseas buyers from 61 companies across five countries - India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, and Germany. These buyers had arrived in the province on the 24th for export consultations with local companies.

The overseas buyers visited New & New, a cosmetics company, and Jardin, a food company, both located in Cheonan, to receive company introductions and observe production facilities. They also experienced cultural tours to Sudeoksa Temple in Yesan and the Baekje Cultural Complex.

Arian Tan, an Indonesian buyer who participated in the site visit, said, "Seeing the products being produced through such a pleasant and systematic process made me feel confident about the contract I signed at the export consultation yesterday," and added, "I heard that 2025-2026 is 'Visit Chungnam Year,' and I will definitely visit again with my family."

Previously, to expand export channels, the province held an export consultation meeting for the first time with overseas buyers from countries where its overseas offices are located at Deoksan Spa Castle Resort on the 25th.

The overseas buyers, who engaged in business meetings with 170 companies in the province and signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for export contracts totaling $61.21 million, will conclude their four-day itinerary and return to their home countries on the 27th.

A provincial official stated, "There were many opinions that the company visits fostered trust in the products by allowing buyers to witness the production process. The cultural tours provided an opportunity to showcase the charm of Chungnam and promote the '2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year' campaign." The official added, "We will strive to ensure that the export consultations are not a one-time event but lead to ongoing communication with overseas buyers through our overseas offices, fostering partnerships with Chungnam."
